Recently, members of the CVS Farm Vets group visited Bimeda's specialist manufacturing facility in Denbigh, North Wales, where every Cosecure™ soluble glass bolus is produced. The visit gave the team the opportunity to see firsthand how more than four decades of manufacturing expertise combine with innovative soluble glass technology to create one of the world's most trusted trace element boluses.
Unlike conventional boluses, Cosecure™ utilises a unique soluble phosphate glass technology designed to release ionic trace elements in a controlled and consistent manner over an extended period. Manufactured using a specialist process refined over more than 40 years, every bolus passes through multiple stages of production, from casting the soluble glass through to quality assurance, finishing and packing.
The visitors also met the dedicated 14-person team responsible for manufacturing the product. Their passion, attention to detail and pride in their work left a lasting impression.

It felt like a proper little family team in this small factory in Wales, producing over 1 million boluses annually which are sold globally - very impressive!"
